Greatest Hits 1982-1989 is the 1989 compilation album by Chicago rock band Chicago. This focuses on the era in the early 1980's when the group began to do far more pop-oriented material and started to have a lot of pop hit songs when the group jumped from Columbia Records to Full Moon/Reprise. It was also the time when Peter Cetera left the band and was replaced by Jason Scheff and as Bill Champlin started to do more than just background singing, he became an important factor in Chicago's new pop era too. This was released by Full Moon/Reprise.
