A 1980 compilation of pop artists recording a children's music album. Features music from The Doobie Brothers, George Benson, Bette Midler, Carly Simon, Linda Ronstadt, Al Jarreau, James Taylor, Livingston Taylor, Kate Taylor, and a few other Taylor's as well, along with Ernie and Cookie Monster. This was released by Sesame Street Records via Warner Bros., which begins with the letters W and B.

Not only do you get to hear The Doobie Brothers, Pauline Wilson of Seawind, and Cookie Monster on the same album, but it's a family affair with a lot of Taylor's and a fair share of Simon's.

For the unaware, this is a children's record. Sesame Street is a children's show on PBS in the United States created by the late Jim Henson, and variations of this show appear around the world. The show featured interaction between real people and "Muppets", a cast of characters that included Big Bird, Grover, Bert & Ernie, Oscar The Grouch, Roosevelt Franklin, The Count, Guy Smiley, and Kermit The Frog. The well-known street is familiar to children today as the home of Elmo. Doobies? A-B-C's? Why not!
