Ustad Vilayat Khan - Different Strokes (2002)

Different Strokes is a 2002 DVD of a live perofmance by Indian sitarist Ustad Vilayat Khan. It was recorded at Royal Festival Hall in London, United Kingdom on November 1993 and released two years before he died. It consists of one song/raga, "Raga Hameer". Joining him in this performance are Sabir Khan on tabla and Hidayat Khan on tanpura. Shujaat Khan, another of his sons, sits on stage with him but does not perform during "Raga Hameer".

Released by Fat Sack Films and Epitome Of Fresh, it features a number of hip-hop DJ's and tuirntablists performing live in concert, all done on vinyl. The D-Styles Sextet consists of D-Styles along with Babu, Rhettmatic, J. Rocc, Shortkut, and Melo-D while Ned Hoddings consists of Excess, Mike Boogie, Toadstyle, and Ricci Rucker. The DVD consists of two live performances (one going for 53 minutes, the other for 35 minutes), a rehearsal video from the D-Styles Sextet and a music video from D-Styles for a total of just under 120 minutes of content, which is all featured here. (The four MediaInfo files are for each individual primary file within this.)

This is a one hour live performance of D'Angelo and his band The Vanguard. He was on tour in support of his Black Messiah disc, with Joi Gilliam as his background vocalist. This was recorded at the Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco on 7 August, 2015.

Cut Chemist - Live At Sónar (São Paulo - Brasil) (2012)

Lucas McFadden is better known as hip-hop DJ/turntablist Cut Chemist. This was taken from a television broadcast of his visit to Brazil at the Live At Sónar festival in São Paulo. It consists of a very energetic set of playing music and records to a crowd that partly looked as if they preferred to take a nap. The festival was presented by Red Bull Music Academy.
